Highlights: This
trek offers you with a great variety of Bhutanese
landscapes and is without doubt one of the most beautiful
and unspoilt trekking areas in the entire Himalaya.
The trek begins at Drugyal dzong (castle) passing
through beautiful villages, scattered hamlets and
farmland. Different vegetation from richly forested
valley to high alpine pastureland where Yak herders
graze their animals. Trout fishing in the sky blue
lake with magnificent view of three majestic peaks.
You will also encounter rare species like the Bahrain
or blue sheep & snow leopard.

Day to Day Itinerary |

-01: |
Arrive Paro by Druk Air
flight which will offer you great views
of Mt. Everest, Kanchenjunga, Chomolhari,
Tsrim Gang and Jichu Drake. The moment you
step out of the plane you will see the difference.
Bhutan welcomes you with cool, clean fresh
air. Peace and quietness is just another
bonus. Our representative will escort you
to your hotel. If time prevails visit the
National museum & Rinpung Dzong. O/n

To
acclimatize yourself a hike to Taktsang
monastery (tiger's den) which will take
2/3 hrs. (alt.3000 m). Lunch will be served
at its. cafeteria. Stroll back to hotel.

Trek
begins from Drugyal dzong - Shana 16 kms
- 5/6 hrs walk. Camp alt.
3800 m. |

Shana -Soi Thangbuthangkha 24 kms 8/9 hrs
walk. Camp alt. 3800 m. |

Soi
Thangbuthangkha - Jangothang 12 kms 4/5 hrs.

Jangothang -Lingshi 18
kms 7/8 hrs walk. Climb over Nyele la pass
alt. 4700
m. Camp at alt. 4100 m. |

Lingshi - Shodu 20 kms 8/9 hrs walk. Climb
over Yale la pass alt. 4900 m.
Camp at alt. 3750 m. |

- Dodena 20 kms 7/8 hrs walk. Our members
will receive you and drive (1 hour) on to
Thimphu alt. 2300m O/n Hotel |

Thimphu sightseeing. AM-Memorial chorten,
Changangkha Lhakhang, Drupthop
nunnery, Royal goldsmith workshop & vegetable
market. PM - Drive to Paro (2 hrs). En route
visit Simtokha dzong the
oldest in the kingdom. O/n hotel. |
